The Computer Office is unable to tell you what your Hermes password is or reset it for you. To get your password reset you will need to go to the Computing Service in person. You will also need to take some identification with you.
To change your current Hermes password do the following :
- Point your web browser to https://webmail.hermes.cam.ac.uk/
- Login using your current id and password
- Click on manage
- Click on 'Change Password' under account management
- Your password should be between 6 and 8 characters long and is case sensitive
- It can sometimes take up to 30 minutes for the password change to take effect
