Accessibility at the Faculty
Faculty Reception Desk
The reception desk has cards that allow you to access the lift, and receivers to allow you to use the induction hearing system. It is situated on the ground floor, just across and open area after you enter the Faculty from the main door.
If reception is unattended, try the administration office just around the corner from the right-hand side of the desk . There's normally a notice at the desk if it's not manned for a significant period of time.
Wheelchair Access
Access to the Faculty reception desk and ground floor is straightforward. A lift is available for access to the other floors. You'll need to ask at reception to borrow a card to give you access to it.
Lecture theatres LG17, LG18 and LG19 have some wide desks with power supplies at the rear that are primarily for wheelchair users.

Induction Loop Hearing
Hearing assistance is available in the theatres situated on the lower ground floor, LG19, LG18 and LG17. To use this, you'll need to pick up a receiver from the Faculty reception desk. The system works via infra-red and the receiver converts this to work with induction hearing devices.
Using the Lifts
The lift is situated on the ground floor just on the right after you enter the Faulty through the main door but it's behind a door that requires card access. You can obtain a card from the reception desk that should be returned when you leave the Faculty.
